Dellona M. J. Johnson Dellona Martin Jones "Dell" Johnson, 72, a retired teacher who had worked for Leon County schools and was a former employee of the Department of Defense, the U.S. Missile Command and NASA, died Tuesday, Oct. 8, 2002. The service will be at 11 a.m. EDT today at Culley's MeadowWood Funeral Home, Timberlane R oad Chapel (877-8191), with burial at Culley's MeadowWood Memorial Park.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Florida Baptist Children's Home, 8415 Buck Lake Road, Tallahassee, FL 32311, or Big Bend Hospice, 1723 Mahan Center Blvd., Tallahassee, FL 32308. She was a longtime member of First Baptist Church in Tallahassee and was a founding member of the Tallahassee Civic Chorale.She was also a member of the local chapter of Sweet Adelines International. Survivors include her children, Sheryl Hughes (and husband John) of Picayune, Miss., Kenneth Johnson Jr. (and wife Michele) of Port Orange, Linda Davis of Tallahassee and Jon B. Johnson (and wife Terry) of Tallahassee; 11 grandchildren, Rhyne Hughes, Hoyt Hughes and Bethany Hughes, Margaret Johnson, Emily Johnson, Caroline Johnson and Kenneth Johnson III of Port Orange, Eddie Davis and Stephen Davis of Tallahassee, and Alexandra Johnson and Aaron Johnson of Tallahassee; three brothers, David Jones of Gainesville, and Robert Martin (and wife Dorothy) and Lindsey Stevens of Kissimmee; three sisters, Barbara Addison (and husband Clarence) of Lakeland, Judy Cruthfield (and husband James) of Indialantic and Dorothy Burnsed (and husband James) of Dade City; and numerous nieces and nephews.
