SCHLESINGER, Delia Blanche - 29 December 1917 - 7 March 2009 Delia passed away peacefully in her sleep, in her 92nd year, at the Prince George Chateau on March 7, 2009. She was born on December 29, 1917 at her mother's home in Carbon, Alberta, the first of twelve children for Clara and Josephat Grenier. Delia is survived by her son Gary (Lillian), by her grandchildren Sheldon, Cheryl, Trevor, Debbie and Brenda, by her great-grandchildren Aiden, Marcus, Jorgia, Caitlyn, Nathan, Rylan and Eve, by her brother Arthur and by her sisters Obeline, Beatrice, Lucille, Louise and Leonie. Delia was predeceased by her husband Magnus, her son Mervin, her brothers Oscar, Dennis, Ernie and Leo and by her sister Alberta. A celebration of Delia's life will be held at Mountain View Funeral Chapel, 17 Avenue S.E. at Garden Road (100 Street), Saturday, March 28, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. Following the Memorial Service, relatives and friends are invited to meet with the family in the Arbor Lounge of Mountain View Funeral Home for a time of refreshments and fellowship.
