There will be a memorial service held at a later date for Delena Jane "DJ" Lee, 62, Gadsden, who died January 3, 2012. Village Chapel Funeral Home and Cremation Services is in charge of arrangements. Ms. Lee was a member of 2 R Mor Community Church. She retired from the State of Alabama Health Dept., was a gospel musician and song writer. She loved to go fishing. She was preceded in death by her parents, Alvin and Bonnie Lee; son, James Nunnelee; and grandson, Jacob Nunnelee. She is survived by sisters, Brooxie (Lee) Lutes, Texas, and Betty Sue (Maria) Lee, California; son, David (Amber) Nunnelee; grandchildren, Kia, D.J., Robbie, Blith and Chance Nunnelee; extended family and friends of 2 R Mor Community Church; special friends, Lorrie McCormick, Tammy Pruitt, Jamie Gould, Friedel Dillard, Tamara Pruitt, Cory Gilliam and Ruth Lane.
