Deborah J. Anderson Kayuta Lake Deborah J. "Debbie" (Kuzio) Anderson, 59, of Spring Street, Kayuta Lake, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, April 5, 2011, at St. Elizabeth Medical Center, Utica, with her loving family by her side. Debbie was born in Utica on August 24, 1951, the daughter of the late Alfred and Helen (Mootz) Kuzio. She was raised and educated in Clinton, graduating from Clinton High School in 1969. On January 4, 1970, Debbie married Richard W. Anderson, and shared a blessed union of 41 years. She was employed in the Whitesboro School System, working in the cafeteria. Debbie was a member of the Boonville Elks Club. She loved living at her home, boating, and going to the islands at Kayuta Lake. Debbie's true passion was spending her time with her children and grandchildren. She was of the Catholic faith. Debbie is survived by her beloved husband, Richard Anderson, Kayuta Lake; her daughter and son-in-law, Kim Anderson-Hirschey and her husband, Jon, Forestport; her son and daughter-in-law, Richard A. and Teffany Anderson, Marcy; four cherished grandchildren, Olivia, Sofia and Ella Anderson, and Cooper Hirschey; and her brother and sister-in-law, Mike and Veronica (Sis) Kuzio, Clinton. Also surviving are two nephews, Ike Kuzio and his wife, Karen, and their son, Aiden, and Tim Kuzio and his companion, Tara, and one niece, Amy Kuzio and her companion, Rick. Mrs. Anderson's funeral will be held on Saturday, April 9, 2011, at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of the Rosary Church, New Hartford, where her Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Interment will follow in Crown Hill Memorial Park, Kirkland.
