WILLIAMS, DAVID WALLACE, 65 Ocala - Mr. Williams, MSGT, USAF (retired), passed away on July 24, 2006 at VAMC, Gainesville. Dave was born March 29, 1941 in Minerva, Ohio. He came here from Grandview, MO five years ago and was employed by the Marion County School Board as Head One Custodian at the Infinity School of Ocala. He was a retired U.S. Air Force veteran and master sergeant with 20 years of service, served in Vietnam and was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross. He is survived by his spouse of 4 years, Modena G. Williams of Ocala; son Terrence Williams of Archie, MO; daughter Stacey Smiley, also of Archie MO.; daughters Sandy Edwards and Michelle Fisk; sons Samuel Fisk and Gary Riddle; brothers Vernon Green of Orlando; Michael Williams of Ocala; Bennie Williams of Summerfield; sisters Honore Myers of Sebring, FL; Diane Hylton of Orlando; Lorraine Spriggs of Sun City, AZ and Sandra Newcomb. Grandchildren Christopher, Jeremy, Riane and Matthew Williams; Emily and Matthew Smiley; Jyme and Justin Noble; Brandy Edwards, Brittney and Michael Hawkey; Sydney Sluder, and Jacob and Jared Fisk along with many nieces, nephews and great nieces. Predeceased by parents Bennie Williams and Ruth June Greene and a brother, Everette. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, July 27th at 2:00 p.m. at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, Ocala with military honors. Interment will take place at Florida National Cemetery , Bushnell at a later date.
