David Terry Grimes Jones County, Georgia- David Terry Grimes, 75, of Old Eatonton Road, died Sunday, January 25, 2015, at his residence. Memorial services will be private. Mr. Grimes was born March 7, 1939, in Milledgeville and had lived in Jones County most of his life. He was the son of the late Charles Roan Grimes and Frances Ruth Martin. Mr. Grimes honorably served his country with the United States Air Force and worked as an aircraft technician at Robins Air Force Base. Mr. Grimes is survived by his sons and daughters-in-law: Kenneth and Tracy Grimes and Kevin Grimes; daughters and sons-in-law: Yvonne and Mike Parrish, Lorraine and Mike McDaniel, Dawn and Greg Allen, Brenda and Andy Pitrowski and Angela and Matt Davis; brothers and sisters-in-law: Steve and Joyce Grimes and Earl and Kathy Miller; fourteen grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and by several nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers the family requests that contributions be made to the family to help offset funeral expenses. Bridges Funeral Home and Crematory in Gray has charge of arrangements.
