WALLINGFORD - David P. Sabo, 57, of Washington St., died, unexpectedly, Saturday, May 30, 2009, while vacationing with his beloved wife Deborah Gianotti Sabo. He was born in Meriden on May 25, 1952, a son of the late Stephen Sabo and Gertrude Gurzinski Sabo and had been a Wallingford resident for many years. David was employed by New Haven Truck and Auto Body in East Haven. He was a member of the St. Pierre Social Club of Wallingford and was a parishioner of Most Holy Trinity Church. Besides his wife, Deborah, he is survived by his two sons, Craig Sabo and his partner, Frank Lauber of Guilford and Derrick Sabo; his two brothers, Philip Sabo and Jay Sabo; and his father-in-law and mother -in-law, James and Jacqueline Gianotti, all of Wallingford; his brothers and sisters-in-law, Diane and Gary Casanova, Michael Gianotti, and Peter and Jeannie Gianotti, all of Wallingford, James and Jeannette Gianotti of Franklin, Mass., and Karen "Sissy" Gianotti of East Haven; and several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian burial, Saturday, June 6 at Most Holy Trinity Church at 10 a.m. Interment will be private. There will be no calling hours.
