A Memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, November 30, 2013 at Bowlin Funeral Home Chapel in Dresden, with Interment to follow at a later date at Arlington National Cemetery in Washington, DC.Mr. Henderson was born March 24, 1939 in Palmersville, TN to the late Thomas Masyl and Anabel Kilgore Henderson. He was a U.S. Air Force Veteran attaining the rank of Airman First Class. He worked in manufacturing at Maytag and Kilgore.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Anne Henderson Bynum.Mr. Henderson is survived by his son, Gary Shannon (Melodie) Henderson of Smyrna, TN; daughter, Susan (John) Embrey of Strasburg, VA; grandchildren, Tyler Henderson, William Kiddy, John Michael Embrey, Colgan Embrey; niece, Renee (Frank) Potts of Palmersville and great nephew, Derick Potts of Palmersville, TN.Bowlin Funeral Home, (731) 364-3101.
