->NEWBURGH - David Mark Jordan, 52, died unexpectedly December 22, 2014, at his home in Newburgh. David was born the second of four boys to George Jordan Sr. and Carol (Cole) of Winterport.Dave had many loves besides his life and family, including tinkering on anything and everything. It was said that Dave would put any redneck to shame when it came to fixing things! Dave enjoyed NASCAR, ATV riding, snowsledding, his Harley, and playing darts with his friends. Dave was a long time employee of J.M. Brown, where he worked as a welder. Dave was a faithful member of the Elks, Howard Masonic Lodge #69, and he was a member of the Keystone Kops Unit of the Anah Shrine. Dave was a big burly guy that had a heart as big as he was. He was the guy always willing to help someone at a moment's notice. Dave is survived by his beloved wife of 30+ years Debra (Dean) Jordan; his parents of Winterport; brothers George "Bud" Jordan Jr. and Judy Kirk of Winterport, Carroll "Joe" Jordan and wife Rachel of West Palm Beach, FL, Herbert "Dean" Jordan and wife Ellie of Winterport; mother-in-law Joyce Dean of Bucksport; in-laws Arnold Dean and wife Wendy of Winterport, Kevin Dean and Tammy of Augusta; nieces and nephews Samantha Smith and husband Cory of Winterport, Victoria Jordan of Searsport, Anne Marie Jordan of Winterport, Garrett and Anthony Dean of Winterport, Jessica, Dalton and Casey Dean of Augusta; canine companions Tanner and Jazzie; and many, many close friends. Dave was loved by many and will be greatly missed.A memorial service will be held Saturday, Dec. 27 at 2 p.m. at the Anah Shrine Hall, 586 Main St., Bangor.
