ANDERSON, DAVID LEE - age 65, departed this life Sunday July 6, 2014, after a car accident. A native of Knoxville, Tennessee. David was the oldest son of the late Isaac and Veonia Anderson. He was a 1967 graduate of Austin High School and attended Knoxville, College. He served his country in the United States Army. He employed as a concrete finisher, truck driver and for a time as a police officer with the Knoxville Police Department before moving to Arkansas. At the time of his death, he was a Veteran Affairs Officer for Phillips County, Arkansas. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Lakeview and a Mason. Survivors include wife, Victoria Chairse Anderson, Lakeview, AR; children, Stepheny Anderson, Monique Anderson, Marvetta Anderson Scott, Jeffery Anderson and Keith Anderson; siblings, Vivian (Harmon) Brown, Brenda (Rickey) Turner, Darlene Allen, Bruce (Frankie) Anderson, Vanessa (Lawrence) Ferrell, Audrey Anderson and Bettye Anderson. A host of other relatives and friends including devoted childhood friends, Walter and Odell Lowery. Funeral services (including Masonic Rites) were held July 12, 2014, at First Baptist Church, Lakeview, AR, Rev. LeRoy Williams officiating. A celebration of life Saturday, August 30, 2014, 2:00 p.m. at Mount Zion Baptist Church (Fellowship Hall) 2714 Brooks Road, Knoxville, TN, Rev. Victor E. King, Sr., presiding; Reflections by Rev.
