David Lovell, né en 1937, conjoint de Tim Lovell, fils de George et Doris, père de Jon et Tim, est décédé le 9 novembre 2012. Veuillez consulter son avis de décès ici:
LOVELL, David C. June 10, 1937 - November 9, 2012 David was born in Plymouth, Devon, UK to George and Doris Lovell. He was the youngest of three boys. At the age of seventeen and half he joined the Royal Navy and served twelve years in the electrical branch. In 1968 he immigrated with his family to Calgary. He worked eighteen months for CP Rail and another twenty-three years for Shell Canada. Dave became a master electrician and ended his career as maintenance supervisor at the Jumping Pound Gas Plant. In his eighteen year retirement in the Cowichan Valley, he enjoyed his passions of gardening and travelling. Dave was a fun loving person with a great sense of humour and enjoyed the camaraderie of his friends from the Cowichan Lawn Bowling Club. He will be sadly missed by Judith, his loving wife of fifty-two years, his two sons Tim and Jon and his granddaughters, Ashley, Amanda and Jamie, as well as many loving relatives and friends both locally and in many countries. The family would like to extend their thanks to the compassionate and caring staff at the Cowichan District Hospital, and especially Dr. Gilbert. If you wish, in lieu of flowers, please make a memorial donation to the Canadian Cancer Society or any charity of your choice. No Service by request. A garden party will be held in Dave's honour in the late spring of 2013. FIRST MEMORIAL FUNERAL SERVICES, Duncan, B.C. Condolences may be shared online at www.dignitymemorial.com.
