ANDERSON David L. Anderson, 68, passed away on February 11, 2009 in Jacksonville, Florida. Mr. Anderson retired from the U. S. Army after a 21 year career as an Airborne Ranger. He was preceded in death by two of his sons, Stephen Anderson, a U. S. Army veteran and Marc Anderson. Marc was killed in Afghanistan, in 2002, while also serving his country as an Army Ranger. Mr. Anderson is survived by his wife, Judy; son, John Anderson, retired U. S. Marine Corps; Stephen's wife, Wendy Sue Anderson; granddaughter, Katie Anderson; as well as many extended family members. He was an avid golfer and he also enjoyed the many friends he made at Starbucks over the years where he worked. A Memorial Service will be celebrated at 1:00 PM Friday, February 20, 2009 with Full Military Honors, in the Chapel of Corey - Kerlin Funeral Home, 940 Cesery Blvd., Jacksonville, FL 32211 (ph 904-744-8422).
