David James Anderson 1929-2013 David James Anderson 1929-2013. It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our beloved Dad, David James Anderson, on May 7th 2013 at the age of 83. He was surrounded by his loving family. Jimmy was predeceased by his loving wife of 60 years Margaret. Jimmy will be sadly missed by his 5 children Mary (Fred Lemon)Anderson (Marie) Cathy (Ed) Wiegand (Edmund and Christine), David (Edwina) Anderson (Jarret,April,Lauren and Scott), Bruce (Deborah) Anderson (Michelle, Jennifer and Claire), Carroll (Andrew) Law (Jackson and Davis); 10 great grandchildren and his brother Allen Anderson. Until recently he enjoyed golfing, curling, fishing and vactioning. He began a long career with West Coast Energy in 1957 and retired in 1994, but continued to work in the oil and gas industry for many years. A Celebration of Life will be held May 19th 2013 from 11:30am to 2:30 pm at the Vancouver Rowing Club in Stanley Park. In lieu of flowers a dontation can be made to the B.C. Hospice Palliative Care Association.
