COOLEY, David "Dave" Ronald In loving memory of David "Dave" Ronald Cooley, 64 years, who passed away Saturday afternoon, February 8th, 2003 at the Sudbury Regional Hospital - Laurentian Site. Born in New Glasgow, N.S., he moved to Chelmsford in 1957, marrying Eleanor in 1960. He was a drill specialist with Boart Longyear for many years, retiring in 2000. Dave was a devoted and active member of the Anglican Church in Azilda. He was a volunteer Firefighter in Chelmsford. He enjoyed camping, fishing and hockey. Dave brought out the best in people and he lived his life for his family. A heartfelt thanks to Dr. Shehata and Nurse Karen Dwyer and the nurses on the 4th floor at Laurentian Site. Beloved husband of Eleanor (MacPherson) Cooley of Chelmsford. Loving father of Wendy Ostrowalker (husband Wade) of Chelmsford, Brenda Ann (predeceased), Brian Cooley (wife Natalie) of Chelmsford, Dan Cooley (wife Jody) of Onaping, Jodie Hannon (husband Craig) of Petawawa, Angela Lively (husband Greg) of Chelmsford and Kari-Ann Lamoureaux (husband Jeff) of Chelmsford. Special "Papa" to Chad, Todd, Katelyne, Trevor, Ryan, Loralai, Braden, Christopher, Cory, Rebecca, Shelby, Hailey, Morgan and Logan. Dear brother of Matilda "Tilly" Cholmondeley predeceased (John predeceased), Katherine "Kay" Walker of Sudbury (Gordon predeceased), Joyce Hill (Paul) of Whitefish, Charles (Marion) of Nova Scotia and Charolette "Honey" Rhyno (Leonard) of Nova Scotia. Dear son in law of Colin and Toini MacPherson both predeceased. Sadly missed by his in laws, nieces, nephews and cousins. Resting at the LOUGHEED FUNERAL HOME, 252 Regent St., at Hazel St. Funeral Service in the Church of the Resurrection, 363 Regent St., Tuesday, February 11th, 2003 at 11:00 a.m. Cremation at the Parklawn Crematorium.
