David "AC" Bishop, 75, of Crystal River, Fla., went to be with the Lord on March 21, 2013, in Richlands, N.C. He was born Nov. 1, 1937, in Citrus County. AC served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1955 to 1959. He lived most of his life in Citrus County and moved to Naples in 1966, then in 1972 he moved to Richlands, N.C. He was a member of Bethany Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Emma Bishop; two daughters, Laura Marshburn and Holly Taylor, both of Richlands; son, Joey Bishop of Richlands; eight grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Guss Bishop Sr.; mother, Lois Bishop; brother, Guss (Buddy) Bishop; and sister, Peggy Keith.
