David Anderson West Utica David Charles Anderson, 55, passed away suddenly on June 23, 2011. He was born on November 8, 1955, in Framingham, MA, a son of the late Richard A. and Betsey (Brown) Anderson. He received his early education in Whitesboro Schools and his high school education at Northfield Mt. Herman Preparatory School, Mt. Herman, CT. David graduated from Utica College with a B.A. degree in Public Relations and Journalism. He spent many years working in this field in Rhode Island, Arizona, Hong Kong and Texas, returning to this area in 2002. Survivors include his sister, Nancy A. Murphy, Utica, and a brother, Robert G. Anderson and his wife, Vicki; and a niece and nephews, Kristen, Rob, Steve and Mark, all of Whitesboro. He was predeceased by a brother, Richard. Calling hours will be held Tuesday, June 28, 2011, from 4-5 p.m. at Wolanin Funeral Home, Inc., 266 Main St., New York Mills. A memorial service will be held at the funeral home at the conclusion of calling hours. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery, Old Forge, at a later date.
