ANDERSON, DavidMarch 25, 1932 - May 13, 2017It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of David Anderson, beloved husband and best friend of Patricia. He is remembered by his children Suzanne Scheidl, (Peter, Sarah, Ethan) and Mark Anderson, Calgary. Wendy Hausmann (Julie, Jennifer, Jodi) and Karen Hausmann (passed),Vancouver. Susan Merren (Dwight, Cameron), Cayman Islands. Sister Karine Renton, niece Bea Renton (Jo Winter) and nephew T.D Renton (passed), Halifax, NS. Niece Rachel Renton (Mark Fleming, Cate, Claire), Boston. Born and raised in Halifax, NS, David moved to Vancouver in 1986. David and Pat shared a good life with family and friends. They travelled the world together and enjoyed the good times at The Lakes Country Club in Palm Desert California where the game of golf was top priority. A graduate of Dalhousie Law School, and earning a Harvard MBA, he was a true entrepreneur, making his corporate mark in a variety of business ventures and investments. He was passionate about his hobbies, particularly deep-sea fishing, fly-fishing, and his bird-hunting trips with good friends. Golfing occupied a good part of his retirement years and he enjoyed his time as Past President of the Canadian Club of Palm Desert. He was happiest when he was surrounded by his family and thoroughly enjoyed good conversation and above all, a good debate. Friends are welcome to join us for the Celebration of David''s life on Friday May 19 from 2-5:30 at Hollyburn Country Club, 950 Cross Creek Rd. W Vancouver.
