SOUTHINGTON - David A. Bishop, 63, of Southington passed away on Sunday, Aug. 17, 2014, at his home.Born Jan. 22, 1951, in Meriden he was the son of the late Carl and Gladys (Clements) Bishop.David is survived by a brother, Jeffrey Bishop and his wife, Dyanna, of Bristol; and a sister, Linda Denton and husband, Keith, of Richfield Springs, N.Y.; he also leaves several nieces, nephews; aunts and uncles. He was predeceased by a brother, Carl "Billy" Bishop. David enjoyed visiting family and friends in New Hampshire, seeing movies with his friend April and he enjoyed crafts and gardening. He also loved rescuing cats and made several his companions.A graveside service will be held on Friday, Aug. 29, at 11 a.m. at the Oak Hill Cemetery, Southington.
