McDONALD, Darlene Marie (nee Jantzen, formerly Kinnee) September 20, 1942 - June 30, 2010 Darlene Marie McDonald, 68, was granted her angel wings on June 30, 2010. Her final days were spent surrounded by family that Darlene had touched in many ways throughout her very memorable life. Darlene's life would seem far too short to many, but those who were touched by her understood she lived her life to the fullest, bringing so much joy, happiness and laughter to her family and friends. Her generosity of spirit was immense and given freely to all. Darlene was predeceased by her father, Hans. She leaves to mourn her mother, Zita; brothers, Darrell (Debbie) and Wes (Pam); sons, Daniel (Steven), Dennis (Linda) and David (Donna); grandchildren, Darbi, Davis, Joshua and Jayden; and numerous other friends and family. She was born September 20, 1942, in Calgary, Alberta to Hans and Zita Jantzen. Darlene enjoyed her job at Capital Care Lynnwood for the past 24 years and devoted much of her time and energy to provide care to those in need, leaving a memorable impression with the residents and staff. A Celebration of Darlene's Life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, July 5, 2010, at Ardrossan Memorial Hall, 60 - 1st Avenue, Ardrossan, Alberta. All are welcome to join us.
