Danny Elvis Walker, 55, of Rockwood, went home to be with the Lord Tuesday, July 16, 2013. He was born July 18, 1957, in Rockwood. He was an over-the-road truck driver for more than 30 years. He was of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his parents, Roman and Ruby Walker; sister, Mazie Walker; and brothers, Ronnie and Ricky Walker.He is survived by wife of 37 years, Margaret Walker, Rockwood; daughters, Kristy Cunningham (Larry) and Angie Icenhower (Eugene); and sons, Donald Heiser, Bill Heiser (Lorie) and James Stinnett Jr. He is also survived by a brother and sister; nephew, Tommy Walker; and niece, Margaret Jiles. He leaves behind 10 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.The family received friends from noon to 2 p.m. Thursday, July 18, in the chapel of Evans Mortuary, Rockwood. Graveside services followed at Oak Grove Cemetery, with the Rev. Louis Capps officiating.
