Mrs. Danita Lynn Peters - Savannah -Mrs. Danita Lynn Peters 42, died Thursday June 29, 2006 at Memorial University Medical Center after a brief illness. Danita Lynn Peters was born on October 12, 1963 in Savannah, Georgia to Louis Peters Jr. and the late Shirley Irene Brown Peters. Lynn as she affectingly known was educated in the public schools of Savannah, Georgia, graduating from Windsor Forest High School in 1981. Lynn furthered her education in Minnesota. In addition to her mother, Lynn was preceded in death by her brother Gregory Louis Peters, her maternal grandparents James and Florence Brown and her paternal grandparents Louis and Dorothy Peters. Lynn is survived by her two children Deveney Dixon and Joseph Dixon Jr., both of Savannah, Georgia a father Louis Peters, Savannah, Georgia, seven aunts, Delores Peters (Elijah) Jones, Savannah, Georgia, Gail Peters, Bronx New York, Akosua Nson Opok (Dorothy Ann Peters), Jamaica, New York, Paulette Peters (Vernon) Baxter, Savannah, Georgia, Debra Peters (Andrew) Francis, Bronx, New York, and Janice Peters Bing, Paramount, California, Ida Law, Savannah, Georgia. Four uncles, Ralph Gene Peters, Garden City, Georgia, Harold (Joyce) Peters, Guyton, Georgia, Tim (Angel) Peters, Columbia, South Carolina, and Minister Jimmy Brown, Tampa Florida. One Sister-In-Law Carol Peters, Savannah, Georgia, Best Friend, Edith Roberson, Savannah, Georgia, God Daughter, Geneva Christine Roberson, Savannah, Georgia, beloved nephews, Brandon Peters, Torrance Smalls and Gregory Peters all of Savannah, Georgia, a host of cousins, great aunts, great uncles and friends. Funeral Services: 1:00 p.m., Thursday July 6, 2006 at Goodwill Missionary Baptist Church, 816 Bowden Street (Carver Heights) Pastor Alphonso Piper officiating. Interment: Evergreen Cemetery.
