ADAMS--Daniel Nelson. It is with great sadness that The Buckley School of the City of New York announces the death of beloved alumnus, Honorary Trustee and former parent, Nelson Adams. A member of the Class of 1924, Mr. Adams was also an alumnus of The Hotchkiss School, Harvard University and Yale University. Mr. Adams served on the Buckley Board of Trustees from 1950 to 1983. During that time he was elected President of the Board twice and served as an Honorary Trustee until his death. He will be deeply missed by all of us in the Buckley community who benefited from his wisdom, humor and integrity. Our condolences go to his son, Dan Adams of Barneveld, NY; and to his grandsons, Bruce Adams of Hartford, CT, and Bryan Adams of Canton, CT, and their families.
