->SOUTHWEST HARBOR --Daniel "Danny" Matthew Butler, 29, died on June 3, 2006, in Southwest Harbor.He was born on Aug. 24, 1976, in Schweinfurt, Germany, the son of Clarence Edward and Petra Renate (Martins) Butler.Danny enjoyed sailing and snowboarding and the Maine coast. He loved Mount Desert Island, and he was a mate on the Margaret Todd and the Rachael B., which sailed out of Bar Harbor. Danny also was a snowboard instructor at Sugarloaf Mountain.He is survived by his father and stepmother, Clarence Butler and Gail Bailey Butler of Readfield; his grandmother, two uncles and one aunt.Danny was predeceased by his mother, Petra Butler.A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 17, at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church, Church Road, Readfield.In lieu of flowers, contributions in Danny's memory may be made to: St. Andrew's Episcopal Church, Children's Fund, P.O.
