JOHNSON, Dale Winger, 70, of Tampa, passed away August 6, 2005. She was born in Detroit, Mich., and moved to Tampa in 1953. She received her music education from Toronto Conserv- atory and University of South Florida, and received a degree in sociology from Saint Leo University. In 1977, Dale sang with Roberta Peters in La'Traviata. She also had radio performances with the nationally known "Make Way for Youth" program, and stage performances with Lyric Theatre and Ensemble Theatre. Dale worked for many years with Jewish Towers as well as Mary Walker Towers. She was predeceased by her parents, Wray and Nova Winger. She is survived by her children, Sher Johnson and Kenny Johnson (Nancy); three granddaughters, Shilah Anderson, Tarah Savarese (Brian) and Kennah Johnson; three great-grandchildren, Brianna and Michael Savarese, and Haven Anderson; her sister, Cheryl Barget (Ken); and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held 4 p.m. Thursday, August 11, at First Christian Church, 350 South Hyde Park Ave., with associate Pastor Bill Anderson officiating. A reception will follow.
