SMITH Dale Bowen Smith age 63 of Stratford passed away Sunday November 6, 2011 in Bridgeport Hospital. Born in Bridgeport October 30, 1948 daughter of William Bowen of Stratford and the late Eleanor Broedlin Bowen, Dale was a lifelong Stratford resident. In addition to her dad she is survived by two brothers James Bowen and his wife Debbie of Naugatuck and Rick Bowen of Rhode Island. One niece Kelly Magalaes and her husband Joe, one nephew Sean Bowen and his wife Diana, four great nieces and nephew Kyla, Julianna, Alivia and Jax. Friends may call Friday November 11, 2011 from 9 to 11 am in the William R. McDonald Funeral Home, 2591 Main St., Stratford. Services will be held at 11 am in the funeral home. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made in Dales name to a charity of ones choice.
