Dale Allen Smith, 49, of 321 Beechwood Drive, died April 29, 2008.A native of Greenville County, he was dearly loved by so many. He was a member of Springwell Church.Surviving are his family, Tony and Teresa Smith, Brent and Tina Smith, Bob and Gail Smith, and Edith Smith; and his loving nephews, Bradley L. Smith and Matthew W. Smith.Mr. Smith was predeceased by his mother, Betty Jo Brezeale; his maternal grandparents, Herman and Evelyn Brezeale; and his paternal grandfather, P.L. Smith, Jr.Funeral services will be held 12 p.m. Saturday at Springwell Church, conducted by Rev. Scott McAlister and Dr. Drew Hines. Burial will be held in Gunnison Cemetery, Gunnison, Colorado. Pallbearers will be Greg Sherk, Mike Anderson, David Selph, Larry Mason, Joel Russell and John Anderson.Visitation will be held 10:30 to 11:45 a.m. Saturday at Springwell Church.The family is at the home of Brent and Tina Smith, 304 North Silver Beech Lane, Greer, SC.He is with Jesus.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Springwell Church, 4369 Wade Hampton Blvd., Taylors, SC 29687.Online condolences may be made at www.thewoodmortuary.com.
