ROY, DOROTHY MAE "MRS. HAPPY ROY" age 91, of Bessemer, AL, passed away July 17, 2011. She was a member of Canaan Baptist Church on Morgan Road. She was preceded in death by her husband, Staniel Monroe Roy and her daughter-in-law, Betty Roy. She is survived by her sons, Staniel (Sherry) Roy and Joe Roy; her daughter, Frances (William) Williamson; several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; her sisters, Laura Hathcock and Norma Pitts, along with several nieces, nephews and extended loving family. Graveside services will be held Wednesday July 20, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at Sadler's Cemetery. Visitation will be held Tuesday, July 19, 2011 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Bessemer Brown Service Funeral Home. >
