Dorothy-Ellen Morris was born March 17, 1932 to Herbert and Sophia Levy in Detroit, MI. She was married May 31, 1953 to Robert O. Morris in New Haven, CT. They spent most of their life together in Suffern, NY. There, they raised their three children, Kenneth R. Morris of Ringwood, NJ, Larry Morris of The Woodlands, Texas, and Hope-Ellen Morris of Hillburn, NY. She was the proud grandmother of seven; Kenneth and Barbara Morris' children, Ken and Steven Morris and Lori Ann Flores of Ringwood, NJ, Larry and Melinda Morris' children, Spencer and Mackenzie of The Woodlands, Texas and Hope Morris and Glenn Van Dunk's children, Cole and Evan Van Dunk of Hillburn, NY. She was the great grandmother of Lily Flores of Wayne, NJ. Dorothy and Bob retired to Prescott, AZ in 1993. They built their home in Williamson Valley where Dorothy, a master gardener, tended her flower and vegetable garden. She loved her home and the scenic surrounding. She was an active member of Temple B'rith Shalom where she managed the gift shop and edited the Temple Bulletin for many years. A Memorial Service will be held at Temple B'rith Shalom at 11:00 AM on Thursday, February 16. Memorial Remembrances may be sent to the Dorothy Morris Endowment Fund.
