Thomson Company THOMSON, Ga. - Mr. Donald Lee Williams 71 of Marshall Church Rd. Thomson, GA entered into rest August 28, 2009. He was the beloved husband of Gloria Jean Williams. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, August 31, 2009 at the Beggs Funeral Home Chapel with Pastors Larry Little and Gary Little officiating. Interment will follow in Westview Cemetery. Pallbearers will be : Thomas Christie, Lewis Prickett, Gary Youngblood, Stanley Williams, Dwight Shelton and Ed Richardson, III. Mr. Williams was a native of McDuffie County, Georgia and was the son of the late A. Harold Williams and the late Inez Crook Williams. He was retired from Thomson Company and served as a Volunteer Fireman with McDuffie County Fire and Rescue and the Thomson Fire Department. Mr. Williams was also a member of Life Outreach in Grovetown. Survivors include his wife Gloria Jean Williams, Thomson; daughters, Julia Ann Turner ( Robert), Teresa Naomi Morris, Priscilla Inez Richardson (Edward) all of Thomson; grandchildren, Tonya Dale Linzey, April Lynn Christie, Ed Richardson, III; great- grandchildren, Alexis Nichole Linzey, Audrey Ann Noggle, Gary Alex Youngblood, III. Mr. Williams was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Brandi Nichole Linzey Memorials may be made to the McDuffie County Fire and Rescue 1061 Salem Rd. Thomson, GA 30824.
