DUBOIS, DONALD PIERRE, 89Donald Pierre DuBois, 89, passed away Monday, October 14, 2013. Don was born in Covington, Kentucky, and was raised in Cross City, Florida. He lived most of his life in Newberry, Florida, and worked as a clerk-telegrapher for the then Seaboard Coast Lines Railroad, from which he retired in 1985. A Navy veteran of WWII, he spent his retirement years on numerous woodworking projects and building remote controlled airplanes. Mr. DuBois was preceded in death just this past August, by his loving wife of 64 years, Laura Jeanne Rolison DuBois. He is survived by his five children, Jeanne, Jimmy, Johnny (Venita), David (Silvie) and Laurie (Mike), ten grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. Funeral Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 19, 2013 at the Milam Funeral Home of Newberry, with a visitation one hour prior. Interment with Navy honors will follow in the Newberry Cemetery.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: Blessed Hope Newberry Food Bank PO Box 722 Newberry, FL 32669 and/or Hospice of the Nature Coast ,150 N.
