Donald "Denison" Davis, 62, died May 27, 2006, at his home. He was born in Fort Pierce, and lived in St. Lucie County for many years before moving to West Palm Beach. He was a laborer in the agricultural industry. Survivors include sons, Donald Davis Jr. of Fort Pierce and Vincent Davis of Schenectady, N.Y.; daughters, Cathy Davis of Schenectady and Barbara Wright Shivers of West Palm Beach; mother, Madeline Davis Collins of Fort Pierce; stepfather, George Collins of Fort Pierce; brothers, Claude Collins and George Collins, both of Fort Pierce, and Calvin Collins of Atlanta; sisters, Sara Collins of Fort Pierce and Helen Peterson and Rebecca Peterson, both of Newark, N.J.; three grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Catherine Wright Davis; and father, Fret Peterson. SERVICES: Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m., June 9 and from 9 a.m. to noon June 10 at Sarah's Memorial Chapel, Fort Pierce. A service will be 2 p.m. June 10 at Immanuel Full Gospel Baptist Church.
