DIANE JOAN ANDERSON Our beautiful mother passed on Monday, February 10, 2014 in her 85th year. Born October 31, 1929 in Victoria, BC. Beloved mother of Reid, Dana and Craig Anderson (Mary). Grandmother to Daryll Breau, Colin and Trevor Anderson. Su rvived by her former spouse Phillip Anderson. Predeceased by her pa rents Kenneth and Jeanne Reid and brother Gordon Re id. Diane was a handwriting expert and one of Ontario's first certified document examiners, testifying at numerous trials in the Ontario Superior Court of Justice. Following her retirement Diane pursued her passion for art and obtained her diploma in Art from the Toronto School of Art in 2006. Diane loved gardening and enjoyed many happy days at the family farm. Thanks to Dr. Bell and staff at North York General Hospital for their care and compassion. Cremation has taken place. Friends may call on Friday, February 14, 2014 at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge St., south of Steeles Ave.), between 6-8 p.m. for a memorial visitation. Funeral Service Saturday, February 15, 2014 at Forest Grove United Church at 3:30 p.m. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to Operation Smile or Nellie's Shelter.
