WILLIAMS, David P., 89, a resident of Montgomery, Alabama, expired Sunday, February 23, 2003 in a lo-cal hospital after an extended il-lness. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 1, 2003 at 2:00 p.m. from The Mt. Sinai Baptist Church, Selma Highway, with the Reverend L. H. Hamilton, Pastor, of-ficiating. Interment will follow in the Churchyard Cemetery with E. G. Cummings with E. G. Cummings Memorial Funeral Home, Inc., Di-recting.Survivors include nine nieces, in-cluding his caretaker, niece, Ly-nette H. (Leon) Moore, Montgom-ery, AL; a devoted daughter, Shelia (Kevin) Fulford, Brooklyn, NY; three nephews, several brothers-in-law; sisters-in-law, cousins and extended family members. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Sallie W. Ledyard and Susie W. Harris. Open visitation will be at E.G. Cummings Memorial Funeral Home on Friday, February 28, 2003 from 12:00 noon to 8:00 p.m.The body will lie-in-state from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. in the church.
