ERICKSON, DAVID "DAVE", age 51, of Orlando, passed away on Friday, May 20, 2005, at his home. He was born on January 10, 1954 in Providence, RI and moved to Central Florida in 1980. Mr. Erickson was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church where he served as Assistant Liturgist and Eucharistic Minister and also served in the same positions with St. John Vianney Catholic Church. Mr. Erickson was also the owner and operator of a video store. Dave is survived by his companion of 28 years, Don Davison of Orlando; mother, Evelyn Erickson of Warwick, RI; brothers, Paul Erickson and Howard Erickson, both of Warwick, RI, Ray Erickson of Wilton, CT; sister, Eleanor Trainor of Pawtucket, RI; nephew, Mark Samos of Orlando; four nieces and thirteen nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10AM, Tuesday, May 24, 2005 at Holy Cross Catholic Church with Father Esau Garcia, Father John Walsh, Father Paul Henry, and Father Miguel Gonzalez as celebrants. Interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery, Orlando. Visitation for friends will be held Monday, May 23, 2005 from 6- 8PM at Holy Cross Catholic Church with a prayer service at 7:30PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Greenwood Cemetery in memory of David Erickson, 1603 Greenwood St., Orlando, FL 32801.
