D. JACKCARTER, 77Field Representative PLANT CITY - D. Jack Carter, 77, died Tuesday, November 10, 2009 due to a stroke. Jack was born in Louisville, Kentucky on September 14 1932 to Agnes Lorraine Proctor and Albert Russell Carter. He resided in Plant City as well as Lakeland. He was a Navy medic in the Korean War and retired as a field representative for the Social Security Administration after 25 years of service in 1984. Jack was an active parishioner of St. Clement Catholic Church in Plant City and a secular Carmelite of the Mary Queen of Carmel Community of Lakeland. He is survived by his wife Joanie, son Michael (Denise), daughters Jacke and Janice Wells (Lloyd), and grandchildren Michael Paul, Jennifer, Christina, Lloyd Jr. and Carter Faye, as well as many other family members and beloved friends. The visitation will be held from 6-8 pm on Thursday with a rosary at 7:00 P.M., November 12 at Haught Funeral Home, 708 W. Dr. ML King Jr Drive, Plant City. The funeral Mass will be at 10 am on Friday, November 13 at St. Clement Catholic Church, 1104 N Alexander St, Plant City.
