1959-2014 WATERVILLE - Cynthia (Bernardini) MacDonald passed away peacefully on Feb. 20, 2014 at MaineGeneral Medical Center in Augusta. She was born in Farmington on July 26, 1959, the daughter of the late Clarence Bernardini and Carole Bernardini. She had a love for nursing and spent many years as a caregiver. Her life was her family and friends, and she spent every moment she had with them. Even in her sickest times, she found the positive in every situation and was an inspiration to everyone who knew her. She spent the last eight years with her soulmate, Louis Carey. She is survived by her children, Matthew Bernardini and fiancee Ladonna Walker, Nathan Bernardini and wife Jane Bernardini, Richard Cochran and wife Jessica Cochran, and Nina (Bernardini) Quimby and fiancee Bobbi Frappier; and stepson Louis Carey Jr. The lights of her life were her grandchildren, Valerie Bernardini, Erica Cochran, Trinity Bernardini, Nathan Cochran, Joshua Cochran, Dakota Quimby, Aubrey Bernardini, Isaac Bernardini, Nicholas Teixeira, Jakob Bernardini, Caleb Cochran, Xavier Bernardini, Rachel Cochran, Alexander Frappier due in July, and baby Bernardini due in the fall. She is also survived by her mother, Carole Bernardini; siblings Kim Poulin, Cheryl Walker and husband Drew, Lawrence Bernardini, and Michael Bernardini Sr. and wife Melissa; and many special nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles. She will be greatly missed by her dearest friends, Scott Stratton, Lloyd Cookson, Darlene Stratton, Michelle Owens, Charlotte Jones and Ellen Treadwell. She was predeceased by her father, Clarence Bernardini, and brother-in-law "Reggie" Poulin. A celebration of life will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.
