MARTINEZ, Ga. - Cynthia Fleming Kelly, 56 of Martinez died Friday, Oct. 29 at St. Joseph Hospital, Augusta. Funeral services will be held Sunday, Oct. 31 at 4 p.m. at New Hope Baptist Church with Rev. Terry Joyner officiating. Ms. Kelly, a native of Richmond county, was the daughter of Woodrow M. (deceased) and Audrey Partridge Fleming. She was a 1966 graduate of Lincoln County High School. Later, she received a B. A. in English from Augusta College in 1971, Masters of Education in 1977, and Specialist in Education in 1982. She had taught in Wilkes, Columbia and more recently Richmond County schools. In 1990, she received the Teacher of the Year Award at Richmond Academy. Also, she had taught night school classes at Paine College and Augusta College. She was a member of New Hope Baptist Church. Survivors include her daughter and son- in- law, Kim and Don Raber, Clinton, S.C.; mother, Audrey P. Fleming, Lincolnton; granddaughter, Sydney Jane Raber, K im K.
