CARTER, CORNELIUS ROBERT "DUKE", 83Ocala - Cornelius Robert "Duke" Carter, 83. Mr. Carter passed away on Thursday, October 2, 2008 after a brief illness. He was a member of New Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church and served his country in the US Navy. He retired from the City of Ocala after 38 years of service. Funeral services will be on Saturday, October 11, 2008 at 11 a.m., New Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church, Ocala, FL, Reverend Keith Blunt will conduct the words of comfort, Reverend Dr. Fred MaeWeathers, Sr., officiating. A wake service will be held at SELLERS FUNERAL HOME on Thursday at 6 p.m. Visitation will be at SELLERS FUNERAL HOME on Friday from 9 to 7 p.m. Family and friends are asked to meet at the Carter's Residence (401 N.W. 19th Court, Ocala, FL) on Saturday at 10 a.m. to form the funeral cortege.
