Corinne Pauline Ritchie of Willington, passed away Friday (March 11, 2005) at Evergreen Nursing Home in Stafford. A caring and wonderful mother, grandmother, sister and friend who only would see the good in people. Born May 20, 1918, Eagle Lake, ME. Married to the late Lloyd George Ritchie, for 60 years. Daughter of the late Albert and Josephine St Onge. Prior to retirement she was owner of The Ritchie Restaurant in Presque Isle, ME. She was a member of the Daughter of Isabelle and a member of the St. Mary's Catholic Church in Presque Isle, ME. She is survived by her son James Ritchie and his wife Carol of Willington; three grandchildren, Leisa Ritchie, Tim Ritchie his wife Kendra, Michael Ritchie his wife Kristen; three great grandchildren, Lindsay, Alicia and Darby; three brothers, Ervin St Onge of Vernon, Gilbert St Onge of Vernon, Conrad St Onge of Florida; and two sisters, Gene McLaughlin of Manchester, Sylvia Cestaro of New Jersey. She also leaves a large extended loving family. Friends may gather at St. Matthew Church for a Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday, March 15, at 10:30 a.m. Burial will be private. Calling hours will be Monday from 4-7 p.m. at the Tolland Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Merrow Rd. (Rt .195), Tolland. Published in the Hartford Courant on 3/13/2005.
