Cora Mae Floyd, 64HOMEMAKER Mrs. Cora Mae "Karen" Floyd, age 64, a resident of Auburndale, FL. passed away Friday, May 18, 2007 at the Winter Haven Hospital due to Pneumonia. Mrs. Floyd was born June 18, 1942 in Mississippi County, Missouri to Edward and Vivian Marie (Thompson) Wheatley. Cora moved to Auburndale 12 years ago from Zephyrhills, FL., she was a homemaker and of the Pentecostal Faith. She was preceded in death by her parents, 3 sisters - Dora, Frances and Laverne, 1 brother - Harley; Cora is survived by her loving family: Husband of 12 Years: Shelby T. Floyd of Auburndale, FL. 3 Sons: Torry (Destiny) Floyd of Lakeland, FL. Zachary Floyd of Auburndale, FL. Joel Floyd of West Virginia 3 Daughters: Sheila (Steve) Weeks of Lakeland, FL. Diane (Johnny) Gamez of Haines City, FL. Lisa (Jerry) Haygood of Perry, FL. 2 Brothers: Bobby Wheatley of East Prairie, Missouri; Billy Wheatley of East Prairie, Missouri; 1 Sister: Lois Coxville of Perry, FL. Father in Law: J.T. Floyd of Auburndale, FL. 4 Grandchildren: Fabian, Michael, Teia and Steven 7 Great Grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 12:00 Noon Monday, May 21, 2007 at the Kersey Funeral Home, 108 East Lake Stella Drive, Auburndale. Interment will follow at the Auburndale Memorial Park. Registration will be held (before services) from 11:00 am till 12:00 noon Monday, May 21, 2007 at the funeral home.
