Cora Lee Smith, 90, died Jan. 28, 2013, at Indian River Medical Center, Vero Beach. She was educated in the public school systems in Newville and Dothan, Ala., and later moved to Vero Beach. Before retirement, she was employed by the late Chez Boye family and later employed by the Hobart Corp. for many years. Survivors include her daughters, Mable Crews Snowden of Somerset, N.J., and Brenda Jenkins Booker of Atlanta; 12 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her sons, Johnny and Albert Barber Jr.; brothers, Willie, Joseph and Arthur James Walker; and sisters, Dorothy N. Jackson and Nina C. Cobb. Services: Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. Feb. 10 at Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church, Gifford. A homegoing celebration of life will be 11 a.m. Feb. 10 at the church.
