SMITH, Clarice V, Clarice Vernon Smith, a native of Dade City Florida died September 25, 2014. She was born to parents Jessie Curtis Lee and George Lorenzo Vernon, well known pioneers and leaders of the area. Mrs. Smith lived many years in the Bayshore Presbyterian Apartments. A member of the Palma Ceia Presbyterian church, charter member and past Matron of Palma Ceia Chapter # 243, O.E.S., past Worthy High Priestess of Lebanon# 6 Order of the White Shrine of Jerusalem, and Elim Temple No. 76 Daughters of the Nile. She is survived by niece and nephews Edie and Fritz deHoll of Ocala, FL, Gwen Smith, Barbara Kachnic of New Jersey, Jo Anne and Plynie Deen of Albany GA as well as grand nieces and nephews. Visiting hours will be on Thursday October 2, 2014 from 11am-2pm at the Blount & Curry Funeral Home, 605 S. MacDill Ave Tampa, FL 33609. A funeral service will be held at 2pm in the funeral home chapel. Interment will be in the Garden of Memories.
