AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mrs. Clara Simpkins Peterson, 96, of 14th Avenue, entered into rest February 18, 2009 at National Healthcare. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m., Saturday, February 21, 2009 at G.L. Brightharp & Sons Mortuary Chapel with the Rev. Ralph Holloway officiating. Interment will be in the Holloway Cemetery. Survivors include a son, Michael Holloway, Augusta; three devoted nieces, Mary Terrell, Rosa J. Cofer and Bessie M. English, North Augusta, S.C.; a devoted nephew, Robert Lee (Shirley) Holloway, North Augusta, S.C.; a devoted great-niece, Patricia Diane Hughes, Augusta; a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
