JACKSON, Clara It is with great sadness that her family announces the passing of Clara Jackson, who died peacefully on February 13, 2006 at Capital Care Grandview in Edmonton. Clara was a loving mother and grandmother who brought joy into the lives of everyone she met. She was born near Belloy in Alberta's Peace River country in 1922 and helped her single mother Roseanne and four sibliongs run a guesthouse through the Great Depression. She grew up and married, and shortly after the war moved to Edmonton with her husband and young son. Her first husband Ralph passed on in 1990, her second husband Frank (Bob) in 2004 and her only son Harold (Bud) in 2001. Her daughter-in-law Sandra and her four grandchildren Matthew, Richard, Jennifer and Stephen will greatly miss her kindness, laughter and love of dancing. She will also be missed by her many friends and extended family that have enjoyed her warm company over the years. Special thanks to the staff at Capital Care Grandview for their loving care over the last few months. A Celebration of her life will be held at the Chapel of Howard & McBride Westlawn 16310 Stony Plain Road, Edmonton on Saturday, April 15, 2006 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Howard & McBride Westlawn Chapel 484-5500.
