Curtis Wilson and Rev. Ronnie Geary officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Hamilton died January 15, 2012 at Chester County Health Care in Henderson, TN.She was born in Lauderdale County, TN, daughter of the late Edgar Nabors and Fannie Pearl Allmon Maxwell, and was educated in the county schools. Mrs. Hamilton retired with several years service from Bemis United Methodist Day Care Mother Goose Nursery. She was an active member of Oak Lawn Baptist Church, where she taught the Adult Women Sunday School Class for several years.Mrs. Hamilton was preceded in death by her husband, D. Roy Hamilton; a son, Anthony Roy Hamilton and two brothers, James Maxwell and Eugene Maxwell.She leaves a daughter, Karen Blake and husband Ronald of Smyrna, TN; a son Jeffrey Hamilton and wife Cindy of Henderson, TN; three grandchildren, Dena Blake, Kimberly Marr and Rebecca Marr; two great-grandchildren, Brooklyn Rush and Brayden Marr; two sisters, Mildred Meacham of Ripley, TN and Ruth Goodwin of Arizona, and a special friend, Joe Wood of Jackson, TN.Lawrence-Sorensen Funeral Home, (731) 424-2424.
