WILLIAMSTOWN -- Claire Marie Lepine, 92, of 30 Church St. died Thursday at North Adams Regional Hospital. Born in North Adams on Aug. 19, 1913, daughter of Henri and Martha Melancon Lepine, she attended schools there. Mrs. Lepine retired from Cornish Wire Co. Before that, she worked at the former Sprague Electric Co. in North Adams. She was a communicant of St. Patrick & St. Raphael's Church and active in its activities. She also was an active member of the Friendship Club at the Harper Center. She leaves a sister, Jeannette Royal of Belvidere, N.J., and a brother, Clement Lepine of Lafayette, Colo. FUNERAL NOTICE -- Services for Claire Marie Lepine will be Monday at 9:15 at FLYNN & DAGNOLI-MONTAGNA HOME for FUNERALS, West Chapels, 521 West Main St., followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10 at St. Raphael's Church. Burial will follow in Southview Cemetery, North Adams. Calling hours will be Sunday from 3 to 6 at the funeral home. Memorial donations are suggested for St. Raphael's Church through the funeral home. She was predeceased by three sisters, Martha Lepine, Evangeline Lefebvre and Gabrielle Wellstead, and by two brothers, Paul and William Lepine. Published in The Berkshire Eagle on 10/21/2005.
