DAGENAIS Claire Marie-Ange passed away surrounded by her family, after a courageous battle with cancer on Thursday, April 3, 2003. Claire is survived by her loving husband, Arthur; her children, Pauline Dagenais, Allan (Marina), Jeff (Joanne), Ken (Tina), Les (Carla), Jennifer (Derek) Manns; seventeen grandchildren, Shannon (Mike) Duke; Charlotte, Michelle and Scott Pankratz; Michael, Chantel, Tanner and Shayna Dagenais; Kayla, Terra and Alissa Dagenais; Breanne, Sarah and Taylor Dagenais; Jade, Bryn and Kate Manns. She is also survived by her brothers and sisters, Hilda (Ed) Baran; Wilf (Fran) Gervais, Phyllis (Lucien) Jungman, Isaac (Wendy) Gervais, Edith (Lionel) Debray and Dan Gervais. She was predeceased by her father and mother, Patrice and Yvonne Gervais; brother, Rod Gervais; sister and brother-in-law, Patricia and Tom Whiting. Our family would like to send its heartfelt thanks to all who offered their prayers and support, the staff at St. Paul's Hospital Palliative Care Unit, and the nurses at the cancer clinic. In lieu of flowers, Memorial donations in Claire's name may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society. A Vigil of Prayer will be held on Sunday, April 6, 2003 at 7:00 p.m. The Memorial Mass in celebration of Claire's life will be held on Monday, April 7, 2003 at 1:30 p.m. The services will both be held at the Holy Family Roman Catholic Church, 110-104th Street West (Sutherland), with Monsignor Len Morand as celebrant. Rite of Committal of Claire's cremated remains will take place in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Saskatoon, SK. Arrangements entrusted to Kenneth J. Scheirich of PARK FUNERAL CHAPEL, 244 2103. Thanks for being a great wife, mother, sister and friend. We will miss you.
