Claire Mae Smith GREENTOWN, PA - Claire Mae Smith, 85, of Greentown died Thursday, Jan. 17, 2013, at Wayne Memorial Hospital, Honesdale. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Albert Smith, in 1997. Born March 26, 1927, at Hopewell Township, NJ, Claire was the daughter of the late George F. and Eva Claire (Fogelsonger) Barnhart. Formerly of Ewing Twp., NJ, she was a Greentown resident for seven years. "We will always carry Claire's memory in our hearts." She is survived by two daughters, Nancy Gilbert and her husband, Glenn, of Greentown, PA, and Judy Artman and her husband, William, of Chickamauga, GA; two sons, Robert and his wife, Barbara, of Hamilton, NJ, and Dale and his companion, Adrienne, of Lehigh Acres, FL; two sisters, Mildred Most of Texas and Louise Barnhart of Georgia; one brother, Austin Barnhart of Titusville, NJ, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be on Saturday, Feb. 2, 2013, at 1 p.m. followed by a memorial service at 2 p.m. at the Prospect Heights Fire Co., 1660 Ninth St., Ewing, NJ 08638.
