GERVAIS, Claire E. (nee Perrier) Peacefully, November 5th, 2007 at the age of 87. Predeceased in 1981 by her loving husband Henri Noel Gervais. Mother of Rolly (Carmen) Gervais, Pat (Simon) Martel, Paulette (Paul) MacNeil and the late Jacques (Marlene) Gervais. Grandmother to: Marc, Dan & Stephane Gervais; Paul & Joanne Martel; and Dave, Rob & Aline MacNeil. Great grandmother to: Richard, Patrick & Savannah Gervais; Joseph & Adam Martel, and Gavin MacNeil. Predeceased by her brothers Sylvio Perrier, Leonard Perrier, as well as her sister Yvette Moreau. She is survived by her brothers Bernard Perrier, Gerald Perrier, Rene Perrier and her sisters Lucille Picher and Blanche O'Reilly. Previously employed for many years in the Canadian Employment Insurance Commission with the Government of Canada. Former resident of the west end of Ottawa on Jockvale Road. Most recently a resident of Le Centre d'Accueil Champlain in Vanier. Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. on Thursday, November 8th, 2007 at St. Joseph's Church at 2757 St. Joseph Boulevard in Orleans. Interment at Notre Dame Cemetery. The family will receive condolences at the church entrance at 10:15 a.m. The family would like to thank Dr. Duchesne and the nursing staff of Le Centre d'Accueuil Champlain for the excellent care provided for our Mom.
