->Cindy Lee (Papaz) Miller, 54, of Oxford, was peacefully brought into the loving presence of her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, August 09, 2011 while at her home surrounded by her husband, children, grandchildren, and many loved ones. Cindy was born in Worcester, Massachusetts, daughter of the late Malcolm and Doreen (Stoddard) Papaz.Cindy temporarily leaves behind her beloved husband, Rick Lee Miller of Oxford whom she was faithfully committed to, celebrating thirty years of marriage as of September 27, 2011. Cindy also leaves behind two dearly loved children: Ricky Lee Miller and his wife Barbie D. Miller of Dudley, Anthony Michael Miller of Oxford; two cherished grandchildren: Zachary Lee Miller, and Bradley Adoniah Miller; her dear older sister, Jane M. Mason of Leicester, and younger brother, Malcolm J. Papaz of Worcester. Cindy also leaves many other much loved people, including her mother-in-law, Doris Miller, and four sister's-in-law; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, co-worker friends, bus parent friends, bus children whom she loved, and other great friends.Cindy was predeceased by twin brothers: Daniel in 1954 and David Papaz in 1955, and grandchild: Crimson Miller in 2009, all of whom she has been wanting to meet and is now with.Cindy graduated from South High in Worcester, MA. She worked at Notis Pizza, State Mutual, and Riley Stoker where she met her husband. She earned her CDL to drive yellow buses, working at Laidlaw. The last ten years she drove a little yellow school-bus for Town of Oxford transporting special needs children. She treated them like her own, singing songs with them, and buying them birthday and Christmas presents. The children loved her. Her favorite job was being a homemaker, which she did while working full time.Cindy felt especially blessed to attend Charlton Baptist Church surrounded by fellow believers who treated her with deep love. She was extremely passionate about gardening and decorating the interior of her home to make it cozy for her family. Cindy was viewed by her family as a Proverbs 31 woman rising up early to prepare meals, and serving them well all of her days. She believed that the love of a family is life's greatest blessing. Cindy fought many battles along the way from childhood to the last minute of her life. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Her grandchildren were some of her greatest pleasures.Cindy had a gift of seeing people in need, and loved helping anyone. She faithfully and generously gave to the American Bible Society because she felt that no one should be without a Bible. She also took delight in funding a child through the Christian Children's Fund. Giving to these funds will continue as an honor and tribute to her. Finally, in her last few months Cindy had bought a mug for her friend, because this is how she viewed the reality of having cancer... It reads "You are a fighter, a survivor a woman of faith and strength. You are a tough opponent for any challenge. Even the big "C" is no match for you because you belong to an even bigger "C" . . . CHRIST He is with you."Cindy is greatly missed by everyone, but most especially by her loving sons and husband.Family and friends may gather for calling hours in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation Street, Worcester on Monday, August 15th, from 5 to 8 p.m. and again on Tuesday morning from 9:45 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home, before departing for church.Cindy's Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, August 16th in Charlton Baptist Church, 50 Hammond Hill Rd., Charlton.
